Connections
Connections link BPP to your ad platforms and data destinations. Once a connection is set up and active, you can use it as a destination for your audiences and signals.
Supported connection types
| Type | Use case |
|---|---|
| Google Ads | Customer Match (Audiences), Enhanced Conversions / Offline Conversions (Signals) |
| Meta Ads | Custom Audiences (Audiences), Conversions API — CAPI (Signals) |
| Microsoft Ads | Customer Match (Audiences) |
| Anonymised | Cookieless audience activation via CRM Connect |
| Generic API / Webhook | Any HTTP-based destination for audiences or signals |
Connection status
Each connection has a status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active (connected) | Authenticated and ready to use as a destination. |
| Error (disconnected) | Authentication has failed or expired. Re-authenticate to restore. |
A connection in Error state will cause all audiences and signals using it to stop syncing until you reconnect.
How credentials are stored
Connection credentials (OAuth tokens, access tokens, API keys) are encrypted and stored securely in BPP. They are never exposed in plain text. Each connection belongs to your workspace — connections cannot be shared with other workspaces.
Creating a connection
Navigate to Connections in the left sidebar and click New Connection. Select the connection type and follow the authentication steps. See the individual connection pages for platform-specific instructions.
Deleting a connection
Deleting a connection also removes all audience destinations and signal destinations that use it. Before deleting, make sure no active audiences or signals depend on the connection — or use Suspend on those first to preserve their configuration.
